June 16, 1994, Kristen Pfaff, bass player with Hole was found dead in her bathtub. Although she had recently gone through re-hab the cause of death was heroin overdose, syringes and other drug paraphernalia were found scattered around the room. Born May 26, 1967 Kristen was raised in Buffalo, New York and after attending college in Europe and Boston she eventually moved to Minneapolis to attend university. While in Minneapolis she put together her fist real band called Janitor Joe. At the request of Courtney love, Kristen joined Hole in 1993 and almost immediately became a junky. She had quit Hole just days before her death and was planning a move back to Minneapolis, a U-Haul truck was parked outside packed with all her possessions.
