June 8, 1987, Yogi Horton (drummer with Luther Vandross), jumped to his death from a 17th floor hotel window. Just before his death he had told his wife he was tired of Living in the shadow of Vandross. Horton had also worked with The B-52's, Diana Ross and Debbie Harry.
