June 4, 1990, At the age of 40 Stiv Bators (Steve Bators) lead singer of the Dead Boys and Lords Of The New Church died after being hit by a laundry truck in France. Stiv was an early pioneer of the punk rock movement in New York and was famous for terrorizing the audience and slashing himself on stage. He had stated that after his death he wanted to be cremated and snorted by his friends.
