This day in music history.

November 28, 1974, John Lennon made his last ever rock concert appearance when he joined Elton John on stage at Madison Square Garden. The pair performed three songs "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night", "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds". It was at this concert that John and Yoko got back together again. The next day John would fly to Florida and sign the papers finally breaking up The Beatles legally. He then moved back in with Yoko.
Whatever Gets You Thru The Night by John Lennon
Whatever gets you through the night '
is alright, is alright
It's your money or your life
its alright,
its alright
Don't need a sword to cut through flowers
oh no, oh no
Whatever gets you through your life
its alright,
its alright
Do it wrong or do it right
its alright,
its alright
Don't need a watch to waste your time
oh no, oh no
Hold me darlin' come on listen to me
I won't do you no harm Trust me darlin'
come on listen to me,
come on listen to me
Come on listen, listen
Whatever gets you to the light
its alright,
its alright
Out the blue or out of sight
its alright,
its alright
Don't need a gun to blow your mind
oh no, oh no
Hold me darlin' come on listen to me
I won't do you no harm
Trust me darlin' come on listen to me,
come on listen to me Come on listen, listen...
