May 21, 1995, Hootie & the Blowfish hit number 1 on the album charts with their debut LP, "Cracked Rear View". The album went on to sell over 15 million copies and stayed at number 1 for four weeks. The song "Let Her Cry" Would win the band its first Grammy.
