December 17, 1957, Bobby Helms' "Jingle Bell Rock" enters the charts for the first time. It re-enters in December 1958, 1960, 1961 and 1962. It peaked at number six on the pop chart. The song was Written by Joseph Beal and James Booth, there have been sevearl hundred versions of the song including Hilary Duff, John Mayer, Brenda Lee, Los Straitjackets, Lenny Dee and The Reverend Horton Heat.
