This day in music history.

September 10. 1974, The New York Dolls break up. Following in the footsteps of Iggy Pop and the Stooges, the Dolls had no hits and almost no fans. The band formed in 1972 they made just two albums, the 'New York Dolls' (Produced by Todd Rundgren) and 'Too Much Too Soon' (produced by George Morton). Both albums sucked shit, and that's why you never heard of these assholes.
