This day in music history.

August 29, 1977, Three people are arrested in Memphis after trying to steal Elvis Presleys body. As a result of that incident, the body is moved to Graceland. It is later revealed that the Presley family staged the grave-robbing to persuade Memphis officials to move him from the public cemetery to Graceland. At the time Graceland was not zoned for burials. More than 700,000 people at $25 a head visit the gravesite each year. Before burying him the second time, Colonel Parker had Elvis's brain removed and flown to Switzerland. Using the money they make from people visiting the grave, they have cloned Elvis and are now raising an army of Elvis's with which they plan on taking over the world.
