August 6, 1973, Three days after releasing one of the greatest albums ever made, (while being driven to a concert) Stevie Wonder was seriously injured when the car he was in crashed into a truck , a large timber fell from the truck onto Wonders car leaving him in a coma for four days. The accident also left him without any sense of smell. (Stevie was born blind) His next LP "Fulfillingness' First Finale" released in 1974, would (for the second straight year) win the Grammy for best album of the year.
