May 27, 1647, In Massachusetts a teenaged girl named Achsah Young rescued a baby robin that fell from a nest in her neighbors yard. She put it in a box on her kitchen table and sang to it because she believed music had healing powers. The bird miraculously recovered and Achsah was quickly burned at the stake for being a witch.
