This day in music history.

May 22, 1954, Bob Dylan had his bar mitzvah. Bob holds up the bar mitzvah for an hour and a half demanding the police clear out over 100 reporters that have surrounded the building. Police refuse saying the reporters have a right to be there. When Bob shows up the police and reporters scuffle and there are several minor injuries. There was a party held at the Androy Hotel it was attended by guests whom had been flown in on a chartered jet. Besides members of the Rolling Stones, guests included Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Bing Crosby, Stephen Stills, and John F. Nash with relatives driving in from Duluth and Beyond. Afterward Bob converted to Christianity.
