This day in music history.

May 10, 1752, Benjamin Franklin having gotten drunk the day before and forgetting his wife's birthday writes the 'Happy Birthday Song'. He does a striptease while he sings it for her and after she stops laughing she screws his brains out.
From then on all the founding fathers repeated this ritual on their wives birthdays and that is how the 'Happy Birthday Song' came to be part of our culture.
