May 7, 1968, During the Rome Pop Festival, one hundred fifty riot police storm the stage when The Move set off some flash pods as part of their act. Only a few injuries are reported and no damage is done. The police chief later said "We'uh thought'uh they was'huh goin to blow'uh the place up'uh!"
