March 10th, 1999, Shawn Fanning stayed awake 60 straight hours writing the source code for a program that combined a music-search function with a file-sharing system and Napster was born. We here at DLAK would like to thank Mr. Fanning, we obtained many great hard to get songs and turned a lot of people on to our music. It was great while it lasted .
